is now

To better serve our animal-loving community as we move into the future, we plan to expand our offering. And in the process, we thought a name change was in order is now

"Cuddly" is how we feel about animals and it's how animals make us feel. That being said, while there are many upcoming changes, our mission remains the same. We aim to help animals around the world live better lives through innovation, community, and kindness. Thank you for being a part of our movement and, now, the family.

Dumped in a box in parking lot.. now in ER!

  • Breed: Border Collie Mix
  • Name: Fab Five
  • Age: Baby

These poor babies were found abandoned in a box in a parking lot last week.

We recently were alerted about a litter of puppies left in a box and dumped in a parking lot. There are 5 puppies in total and they are only about 4 1/2 weeks old. We immediately brought them into rescue and placed them with a foster. It is always nerve-racking rescuing puppies because we do not know how healthy they are or what problems could arise.

Fast forward a week and 4 out of the 5 puppies are currently being hospitalized. They started having severe diarrhea and began vomiting. This led to extreme dehydration and lethargy. We rushed them to the vet where they ran a couple tests that came back negative for Parvo and Giardia. We also sent out a fecal test to rule out any other issues. The vet told us that it could possibly be worms or even Coronavirus. They are currently at the hospital on IV fluids and medication to help them stabilize.

Please consider making a donation to their life-saving medical fund or an item off their wishlist. We cannot save them without your generous help!

Updates

  • Our puppies are doing SO MUCH better. They went back to the vet today and got more meds and only one needed fluids. These three are back to being their normal selves. The other two are almost there, but still recovering. It was worth the $2300 we have spent on vetting for them so far.

  • These two puppies are doing better than the other two. They are doing well enough to go home at least. Still having slight diarrhea and sometimes one or two will throw up after eating/drinking winter. They will be going back to the vet tomorrow for observation. Tomorrow we will get the results for the fecal as well.
