is now

To better serve our animal-loving community as we move into the future, we plan to expand our offering. And in the process, we thought a name change was in order is now

"Cuddly" is how we feel about animals and it's how animals make us feel. That being said, while there are many upcoming changes, our mission remains the same. We aim to help animals around the world live better lives through innovation, community, and kindness. Thank you for being a part of our movement and, now, the family.

Oxygen therapy and surgery for severe injuries

  • Breed: Maltese Mix
  • Name: Symphony
  • Color: White
  • Size: Small
  • Sex: Female
  • Age: Adult

$0.00 raised of $2,500.00

We rescued this little gal Symphony, who was badly injured, from the shelter yesterday.

We rushed her to Calista Animal Hospital where they found blunt force trauma that caused two broken ribs and an injury to her mouth. Because of her injuries, she was most likely kicked by a person. She is getting oxygen therapy now, and they do not think she will need surgery. Nonetheless, broken ribs are extremely painful, and she is still suffering a lot.

She seems a bit better this morning and ate a bit, but she is still not out of the woods yet. Her injuries are life-threatening. We spoke to the couple who found her under their RV outside their home yesterday. She was most likely injured and was dumped behind their home near Mesa Grande in Las Cruces New Mexico. We are hoping and praying for this little girl, please help us fund her oxygen therapy.

  • Good news UPDATE! We need those every now and then, right?!   I know that's what keeps me going as a rescuer. Little Symphony, the center white doggie in this picture, is now at home with her new mom and new siblings. She's our little gal with the blunt force trauma injury/broken ribs who we rescued from the shelter over a week ago. She ended up having surgery to suture the ribs and provide mesh support to make her healing more comfortable, and she's doing GREAT! She's ...happy at home with her family, and she's recovering nicely. Symphony did show further signs of previous abuse and had had puppies about six months ago.  She will be spayed after her ribs heal. Any funds you can contribute would be greatly appreciated, her vet bills are pretty big!

  • So, Symphony is going into surgery after all today, she's in too much pain from the broken ribs, so they want to see what they can do.
