is now

To better serve our animal-loving community as we move into the future, we plan to expand our offering. And in the process, we thought a name change was in order is now

"Cuddly" is how we feel about animals and it's how animals make us feel. That being said, while there are many upcoming changes, our mission remains the same. We aim to help animals around the world live better lives through innovation, community, and kindness. Thank you for being a part of our movement and, now, the family.

Please Help Khloe Walk Pain Free

  • Breed: Labrador Retriever
  • Name: Khloe
  • Color: Brown
  • Size: Large
  • Sex: Female
  • Age: Adult

$70.00 raised of $2,500.00

Khloe suffers from a condition that has caused her hips to develop improperly causing her to experience pain in her every step. She is a wonderful girl who was found as a stray with a littermate who looks exactly like her. They were picked up in a very rural part of Texas where the town holding facility for strays is a makeshift trailer with dirt floors, rusty cages and no air conditioning. Because of her sparkling personality, she was rescued by a group that reached out to Kent Animal Shelter for help. The two dogs were transported here and Khloe's sister was quickly adopted. However, Khloe's debilitating condition was quickly discovered. To help her walk again pain free, she needs orthopedic surgery. The surgical procedure is costly but what price is the cost of a happy pain-free life? Priceless! Every donation will help us get closer to our goal. Please Help!

Updates

  • Khloe had surgery approximately 3 weeks ago and she is doing well. Her prognosis is expected to recover quite nicely and she is now out of pain and walking better. The surgery cost was $ 3000.00 and we need help paying the bills so as not to divert funds from the rescue program that reaches out to dogs like Khloe.

  • Good News! Khloe had surgery to correct her hip displacement due to a congenital disease. The surgeon said she did very well and here she is on the following day. The recovery will take a couple of months but a good outcome is expected. Thank you to all who donated. We still have a ways to go to reach our fund raising goal to pay for her medical bills. Please Help out with a donation today!
