Knight (aka Chance) is a sweet 160 pound Great Dane! He was extremely neglected before joining our rescue program. As you can see in the pictures, his leg needs to be amputated ASAP. After his surgery, he will have to learn how to walk using only his 3 legs. His foster said he is wonderful and has been great with her three dogs, despite never having been socialized from where he was rescued from. He LOVES lounging in grass and will live a happy and comfortable life when he heals from surgery. Any donation or item off his wish list is very much appreciated! All of the funds we raise for Knight will go toward his surgery, food, and continuous care after his surgery. Thank you so much!
To better serve our animal-loving community as we move into the future, we plan to expand our offering. And in the process, we thought a name change was in order is now
"Cuddly" is how we feel about animals and it's how animals make us feel. That being said, while there are many upcoming changes, our mission remains the same. We aim to help animals around the world live better lives through innovation, community, and kindness. Thank you for being a part of our movement and, now, the family.READ MORE
Sweet boy needs amputation
The vet has cleared him and he is good to go for adoption!!! Knight is an 18 month old Dane pup who was rescued from a neglectful home after he had been hit by a car 9 MONTHS prior and injured his leg, and the injury was left unattended for that entire time. Due to the neglect, his leg needed to be amputated because the nerve was shot in the leg and was deemed useless. Chance is getting around wonderfully on three legs ,and he is the biggest happy puppy that he should be now. No more pain and no more dragging around a dead limb. He's great with other dogs but is a big boy still, and despite having only three legs, he is still very strong and will need a Dane savvy owner that can handle a big boy like him. He is extremely sweet and has that typical gentle giant mentality and personality. If you are interested in chance please go to www.PetMatchmaker.org and fill out an application.
