is now

To better serve our animal-loving community as we move into the future, we plan to expand our offering. And in the process, we thought a name change was in order is now

"Cuddly" is how we feel about animals and it's how animals make us feel. That being said, while there are many upcoming changes, our mission remains the same. We aim to help animals around the world live better lives through innovation, community, and kindness. Thank you for being a part of our movement and, now, the family.

Snow has been the victim of abuse so evil that we knew she had to be saved so she could experience real love.

Some evil person decided to shoot this precious angel's tail off, narrowly missing her spinal cord. Now, she has to have to have what is left of her tail amputated. Despite everything she's been through, she still has the ability to show unconditional love and trust to everyone she meets.

Snow had a vet appointment yesterday and we found out that along with her tail injury, she has a UTI. She is now being treated with antibiotics. The vet is wanting to perform her surgery on Monday, so she can start recovering and find a loving home as quickly as possible.

Our rescue is relatively new, but we have taken off fast. We want to help as many pets as we can, but funds are low to care for Snow and the 33 others in our care.

Any help is greatly appreciated and welcomed so that we can continue to save as many innocent lives as possible. Please consider donating to Snow's medical funds or sending her an item from her wishlist to make her happy and comfortable as she recovers.

Updates

  • Snow has been doing well after having her sutures put back in. She’s still playing but seems to be a little more careful of her surroundings & loves her daily wound cleaning. She is also still on antibiotics for her UTI as well as as a preventative for her tail.  She loves the treats, bowls & love that everyone here have sent to her & sends sloppy kisses & nub wags.

  • Snow had to be taken back to her vet this morning after some of her sutures busted last night. The vet explained that this is normal when dealing with a tail injury because of her sitting on her rear end & tail touching the hard floor or surfaces.  Her vet doesn’t want her tail bandaged so the area gets the air necessary to promote healing, however they have suggested that we pad her crate that she sleeps in so she doesn’t hit her tail on the crate & cause more pain & injury. So I’m planning on taking some memory foam, cutting it to fit her crate, wrap it in pillow cases to make her a padded crate.  She is still a loving, happy pup that only wants to please everyone she meets & play with her foster brothers & sisters.

  • Snow had her surgery this morning where they had to remove 3/4” of what was left of her tail. An infection had set in causing a horrible odor making us all think it was necrotic but thankfully it wasn’t. She will be on antibiotics & pain medications for a few days & will have to have her sutures removed in probably 10 days. After speaking to the vet, he let us know that although it was an easy surgery to do, her recovery will not be easy.  Because it’s her tail, it will take much longer to heal because of her sitting on her rear end & aggravating the area every time she does, there’s a good chance of an infection starting up so she will have to learn to sit on her hip & the area will have to be cleaned several times a day.  Through it all, she is still a happy & loving pup who only wants to please everyone.  Thank you for all the prayers, donations & gifts from the wishlist. We will be posting updates every couple of days so everyone can be a part of her future.
