Sweet Pea was found as a stray with five other Shar Peis and was soon diagnosed with entropion.
She is only about 1 year old, and she is a total sweetheart. Sadly, her eyelid entropion causes her a lot of pain and could lead to even more severe problems in the future if it is not dealt with quickly. This condition is an abnormality of the eyeballs in which the eyelid “rolls” inwards. As a result, the hair on the surface of the eyeball rubs against the cornea, and corneal damage occurs. The damage causes many dogs to lose their vision completely. Her eyes are very bad and need entropion surgery as soon as possible, so she can keep her vision.
We desperately need your donations to help poor Sweet Pea get the surgery she needs to be pain-free and keep her sight.
