Charity was at a high kill shelter in horrible condition before we were able to save her.
She came to us starving, weak and afraid with incredibly itchy, damaged skin. However, after just a few weeks with a little TLC, her condition has changed drastically. As the pictures show, she is glowing and looks much healthier.
Her personality shines through and she is the sweetest thing. At our shelter, she even has a best friend keeping her company. When she first arrived at the shelter, she was starving and emaciated but was still patient and willing to share her food bowl with her new doggy BFF next to her. She still needs complete vetting but is not quite strong enough to go through it just yet. Spaying, microchipping, updating vaccines, and getting bordatella are all necessary before she can leave the quarantine area and not be exposed to respiratory infections. Soothing baths and supplements for that itchy skin, heartwom treatments/prevents, and flea programs are just the beginning of treatments she will need.
Nevertheless, we know she will be a fine looking gal and ready for a loving home in no time. It is our job to take the unwanted and we need you to help to enable us to keep doing it. Please donate to Charity and spread the word.
