We are informed about a dog (named Midge) who was found by an ACO when they were sent out on an emergency call. What the ACO (animal control officer) found was a twenty-five pound emaciated adult dog curled up in the corner of the garage. She was trembling in fear and went limp as the officer picked her up. One look at Midge and horror immediately announces itself. It has been storming in Georgia where Midge was found; which seems fitting for what she has endured. She has been alone in the storms. 

Midge's 'owner' clearly abandoned their responsibilities a long time ago. The vast evidence is in her neglected, broken state; as her eyes are almost hollow and she is sporting a disfiguring ear crop job- aka as forced mutilation. She is covered in hundreds of engorged ticks that have been guzzling her blood supply for a very long time. She is anemic, weak, and her gums are white. The most horrific part of her neglect is the bottom half of her mouth, which is degloved, and we don't know if she can eat at this moment; which is a massive cause for alarm. Midge's backbone and ribs are protruding, her temperature is barely at 96, and she is wet, filthy and her smell hits you like a blow from a hammer.
