When volunteers came across an injured pup roaming the streets of Nevada, it was obvious he needed medical help. So, after saving Homer, rescuers were excited to discover he was microchipped because that means he has a loving family, right? Well, unfortunately that was not the case for this sweet innocent pup…
The registered owner claimed he wanted nothing to do with Homer, as he sold him a long time ago, and immediately hung up. Homer will be on a stray hold for 30 days, and if not reclaimed, he will be available for adoption after his medical issues have been managed. Even if no one shows up to claim Homer, SNARL will be doing everything they can to ensure he gets medical attention he needs, as well as find him his forever home.
Homer will be getting vaccinated within the next few days and begin treatment for his allergies to help alleviate the discomfort caused by his skin and eye infection. Then once his stray hold is completed, he will also need double entropian surgery to repair his damaged eyes.
Donations towards Homer's much needed medical care are greatly appreciated! This sweet boy has been neglected his entire life, and it is time to change that. Let's get him healthy so he can finally discover what it feels like to be loved. Thank you in advance for the support!
