Bubba was brought in after being surrendered by an ill owner who could not afford the medical care that this pup so desperately needed. He has mass cell tumors that needed to be removed asap and an ACL that required a repair. The heartbreak that accompanies losing your best friend is hard enough, but losing your best friend while your body is incredibly sick is even worse.
It’s A Pittie Rescue took in Bubba with no second-guessing at all. Once brought into the vet they were informed that with all the surgeries that are needed, the cost will be around $7,050.00. He has already started his care in having mast cell tumors removed, we have added vet bills at $2,050, and is recovering from that and he will begin his ACL repair soon enough which is estimated at $5,000.
It’s no secret that this sweet boy has had a hard go at things in the last few weeks, we are wanting to restore his hope and his joy by spoiling him and loving on him any way that we can. The idea of him recovering with the absence of his owner so evident to him is devastating to think about, but all we can do is show him that there is love and support right where he is, at It’s A Pittie Rescue.
