Colorado Pet Pantry continues to meet the need around the state, thanks to the generosity of our donors! Recently, we helped pets in Alamosa, Cañon City, and Pueblo. All in all, during those three pet food banks we distributed 7,890 lbs of dry dog food, 1,543 lbs of dry cat food, and 883 cans of wet cat food to help 277 families keep their 951 pets in their homes where they belong and out of shelters.
What a way to close out May!
But we know this is just the start of the busiest time of year for shelters around the country including here in Colorado - and with just one donor proving support through our CUDDLY wishlist, we have a lot of work ahead of us. That's why it's more important now than ever to consider purchasing an item off our wishlist to help us continue keeping pets at home.
We never want to be in a position where we cannot help someone and we never want a loved pet to end up in a shelter because someone has to make a heartbreaking decision. If you are able to support us again, please consider giving an item off our wishlist today! It will go directly to a family in need and the smiles 😁 on these two grateful clients tell the story of how important your contribution is!
If you can't make a wishlist donation, please consider sharing our wishlist and our mission with a friend.
