Xena Rose

Sometimes at the moment, it doesn't seem like everything happens for a reason, but Xena Rose's story is living proof that everything truly does happen for a reason. A very dear friend of Lake Charles Pitbull Rescue, James, was on his way home from work when he had some delays getting home, however, these delays put him at the right place at the right time to find Xena Rose wandering on the side of a country road while dragging a heavy chain behind her.

At the time, Xena Rose was barely a year old suffering from severe Demodex and a bad staph infection that covered her entire body because it was not treated early.  This sweet girl was rescued by Lake Charles Pitbull Rescue and they brought her to the vet where she received live changing antibiotic injections, medicine for the Demodex, and antibiotics to take by mouth and pain medication.  Xena Rose received the life-saving care that she needed, she will never be hurt or neglected again.  With CUDDLY's help,  Lake Charles Pitbull Rescue was able to raise much-needed funds to help with her medical bills, including the plethora of medications and vet visits it took to treat this sweet girl back to health!  

After once flinching in fear at the raise of a hand, Xena Rose will know love for the remainder of her life, this sweet pup was adopted and found her forever home!  She now gets to be loved by her new mom and dad, receiving all the hugs and kisses she greatly deserves.  Xena Rose’s skin showed improvement each day as she continued to be a happy pup throughout her journey.  She now loves to play in the grass and is more playful than ever!  Finally, this beautiful girl gets the loving that she deserves now and forever!  As always, we at CUDDLY want to give credit where credit is due.
