All of our adoptable pets are housed with foster families. When age appropriate, they have been spay/neutered, crate, leash and house trained. They have all been living in a family environment so have been evaluated for temperament and personality. We believe that we should know each pet well enough to make sure that when adopted, everyone lives happily ever after.
Tiffah is a sweet, shy girl. She was treated a little roughly when she was a baby and you have to prove to her that you won\'t hurt her. But, when she finally trusts you, she playfully turns into a wiggling mass of love. She has good house manners, loves her crate and walks well on a leash. Tiffah will need to have a while to get used to everything new when she gets to her new home. With patience and no harsh words, she will blossom into a great family dog. But, she would do better in a quiet family with older children. Tiffah is very submissive to all dogs and gets along well with kitties.
The DHS organized in November 2008 to care for the unwanted and neglected animals of Northeastern Louisiana. We are funded only by donations.
To support this sweet pup, please consider purchasing an item off of her wishlist to help keep her comfortable while she waits for her forever home. ' >
