Oscar rushed Cisco to Access Hospital and spent a total of $1,400 to try to get to the bottom of it. Ultrasound and X-rays were negative for blockage or mass, and blood work ruled out Addison's disease. His tests are most consistent with a mild Mesanteric Lymphadenomegaly, which appears to be reactive. Cisco has since been placed on several medications to alleviate his symptoms. The good news is he has perked up a little over the last week and has kept food down, but he is not out of the woods and the ONLY WAY to find out exactly what is going on is to have Cisco undergo a minimally invasive endoscopy.
Oscar personally reached out to so many rescues begging someone, anyone, to help him get Cisco the treatment he needs. He loves this boy so much and just wants him to be okay. Nobody would respond, so he began to give up. He and Cisco were withering away in front of Oscar's brother's eyes. Cisco was suffering and Oscar couldn't help him. Finally, DR Doghouse Bully Crew Rescue was contacted by Oscar's brother begging for any kind of help. Despite being stretched too thin to be able to foot this whole bill, rescuers simply couldn't turn him away.
Cisco CAN survive this and continue to help his dad, emotionally, as he has for the past six years, but Oscar can't afford the last step. Please help rescuers help Oscar get Cisco back to his normal self. The funds raised will go directly to the vet bills that have already accrued this week (Boulevard Vet) where Cisco received the bulk of his medicines. It will also be used for the bill from Dr. Norman at Dog and Cat Animal Hospital, to include initial emergency consultation, endoscopy, anesthesia, postoperative boarding, and postoperative medications. Thank you so much in advance for helping Cisco!

Six years ago Oscar had rescued Cisco from the shelter, and since then, they have been each other's lifeline. Life had not been easy for Oscar growing up, but Cisco brought him joy, hope, and most importantly, love. About six weeks ago, Cisco took a turn for the worse when he became very lethargic and started vomiting up everything he ate.
