After coming to Fort Worth Abandoned Animal Alliance, Pixie was hospitalized for several days to get the medical treatment she needed. Since then, Pixie has been resting in her loving foster home, but they are having difficulty getting her diabetes under control. So, this week Pixie had an appointment with a specialist who will be able to get her on track to living a normal, happy, and healthy life.
Pixie's first appointment was over $400, and she will be going once a week for the next four weeks for a curve test. If you can help rescuers help little Pixie, she and them would be very grateful. They take in many seniors and this is the unfortunate side of taking in the older animals as they have quite a bit of medical. Of course, Pixie is worth every penny, but rescuers can truly use every ounce of support they can get. Thank you!

Back in February, this precious little senior was discovered staggering on the streets in the midst of a life-threatening snowstorm. As if this harsh weather wasn't harsh enough, Pixie was also suffering from undiagnosed diabetes and dying a slow death.
