Luckily, a rescuer from Rescued Pets Movement Rescue saw him on the euthanasia list at the local shelter and knew immediately they needed to rescue this dog. It was a shot in the dark, as they put it. No one knows if his tumor is cancerous or not, plus the team didn’t have a foster or a plan for Cooper at all. The plan they had was to ensure him getting help, as an older lab like this with medical issues has no chance at all in the shelter.
The team went and picked up the lovely man and took him back to the facility. They made a soft bed, as he had never experienced that, let alone a full belly of food. You’d never ever know from his little trot that he was feeling the way he is, he is such a sweet and happy dog. After meeting him, they knew there was no way they could just not help him, he was far too sweet and filled with love!
Currently, rescuers are awaiting his full vetting and planning on getting his tumor removed so they can do a biopsy. We at CUDDLY, rescuers and doctors are all crossing our paws hoping that nothing comes back cancerous, as the monetary plea may climb if the results come back positive, as well as the risk of losing such a sweet and promising pup.
We are desperate for asking for donations to go toward the investigative surgery required to ensure this sweet boy’s life. While we do not know what kind of future Cooper is in store for, this does not mean we cannot strive to make it better and with a small donation, you can aid Cooper's rescue journey. Thank you in advance to every selfless donor who contributes to this precious pup’s cause!

Unwanted: Cooper has been unwanted since the day he found himself at the kill shelter. Sporting a large tumor on his underside, the shelter he was at was not even going to give him a chance at life with a loving family. One look in this sweet boy's eyes and you can tell all he wants is acceptance, not to die alone.
