After traveling over 20 hours to Clovis, NM, our rescue assisted with this dreadful hoarding case that involved removing 44 dogs from a property. Sadly, we were not prepared for the sights we saw upon arrival. The house itself was in complete shambles…the dogs ate, played, slept, urinated, and defecated, all in the same spot. Every day they lived amongst their own filth, covered in urine-filled, matted coats.
Unfortunately, every one of them is underweight, dehydrated, and extremely malnourished. In addition to that, unaltered males were freely roaming with the females, resulting in pregnancy for most of them. And, on top of all that, some were cuddled up next to the bodies of their friends who were too sick or exhausted to move.
Although our rescue specializes in saving boxers, we could not turn our backs on these babies. As an animal rescue, we made a vow to fight for all lives that needed help, and, for obvious reasons, we couldn’t leave them. All of these babies are petrified, and understandably so, as up until this point, they had lived every single day in fear. With that said, we ask that you please kindly consider donating to the emergency medical care of these precious pups. Any amount will go a long way in helping us restore their bodies from the inside out. Thank you!
*We do not have all 44. We are working with a number of amazing rescues, including another CUDDLY partner Let Them Live Rescue, to tackle this situation.*

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and in the case of these 44 dogs, it's everything. The images you are witnessing are only a fraction of the horrifying and utterly heartbreaking death sentence these pups were forced to live.
