After 72 hours, the twitching in her limbs subsided and she became more alert. Her body was still paralyzed from the neck, although she was able to move her ears on her own. Her neurologist would like to have an MRI test done at that time to identify if there are any abnormalities that may be provoking her seizures.
Since Dolly’s last appointment, she tries to move or get up every day. She wiggles across her bed or flips herself over. She still follows us with her beautiful piercing blue eyes and her appetite is good. She is being so strong and brave and showing us her sheer will in trying to stand. She is worth every moment of her ongoing care.
Despite her ongoing paralysis, Dolly attempts to stand up and walk on her own every day. This sweet girl is incredibly strong-willed and we pray that she can make a full recovery and regain mobility so she can run and play with her siblings again.
We are doing everything in our power to help poor Dolly but we operate solely on donations and are running out of funds. We're relying on our generous supporters to help raise enough funds for her ongoing medical treatment.
Please consider helping sweet little Dolly by donating to her medical fund or sending a get-well gift from her wishlist, such as food, treats, and supplements. DR Doghouse Bully Crew Rescue is a 501c3 nonprofit organization and all donations are fully tax-deductible.

One afternoon, poor Dolly began acting unsteady and confused. Suddenly, her little body flopped to the floor and started convulsing uncontrollably. After an emergency trip to the animal hospital, Dolly was diagnosed with seizures and placed on lifelong seizure medication.
Dolly was admitted into our rescue for around-the-clock care as she requires assistance to eat and can only drink small amounts of water through a syringe. For the first 48 hours after leaving the hospital, Dolly's body continued to twitch and shake. She was unable to move any part of her body on her own. Instead, little Dolly lay paralyzed and looked up at us with her big blue eyes while we nursed her back to health.
