The next day, Lucky was about to be transported to the emergency animal hospital when his brother, Charlie, was discovered alive and sent to the hospital with Lucky. Unfortunately, Charlie was in critical condition and passed away the next morning.
When little Lucky arrived at the hospital, he was infested with worms and had maggots in his left eye socket and around his genitals. He was anemic and received a blood transfusion to restore blood cells lost to anemia.
Now, Lucky is the only surviving puppy of his litter and has proven himself to be a very tough little boy. Lucky was discharged from the animal hospital and is now being bottle-fed frequently throughout the day to help him get big and strong.
We are doing everything in our power to help poor Lucky but we can't afford to provide him with ongoing care and medical treatment without the help of our generous supporters.
Please consider showing sweet little Lucky how much he's loved by sending a get-well gift from his wishlist, such as delicious food, fun toys, and health supplements. ThisIsHouston is a 501c3 nonprofit organization and all donations are fully tax-deductible.
