This Frenchie was purchased for thousands of dollars, only for the people who took them into their “care” to become SO neglectful that it has now transitioned into abuse. They forced him to live outside with barely any food or water, he was surviving in absolute filth and was in terrible condition. His eyes were so badly infected that hair had begun growing out of one of them.
His “owners” decided to surrender him after they finally decided that his presence was a nuisance enough to actually do something about it. We are so glad that they decided to do this, it would have only been a matter of time before the conditions that this poor boy was living in would kill him.
Thankfully, he is safe in our care. We have him scheduled for a full vetting and to begin his process of recovery. His medical treatment is our first priority, and he will not be up for adoption until he is fully recovered and healthy!
Our rescue desperately needs your support. Little Al (what we have named the sweet soul) needs you. We have had an incredible influx of abuse and neglect victims that have found their way into our care, the medical treatment alone has us way over our heads. If you can, we ask that you please consider donating to Al’s treatments and care. Any amount you can give, or wishlist item you can purchase is a huge help.
We thank you for your kindness and generosity!

Big Al is doing so well after his surgery. The cone is off and he is enjoying time with his foster brother. It fills our hearts to see him so happy and comfortable especially knowing the situation he came from and the condition he was in.
We love you Al!!

Big Al update!
No more " lashes gone wild". Big Al is out of surgery and back home with his foster family. According to Big Al's doctors, he did very well in surgery. His foster mommy says he's not feeling too well right now but we will keep everyone updated on his progress post-procedure.
Thank you for any and all donations given to help us cover the growing costs of his care! ❤

Our little guy Al had his consult at the vet and it was decided he will definitely need to be evaluated by an eye specialist. We will be getting that done this week along with some bloodwork, vaccinations, his neuter, and microchipping him.
Once we know more about the next steps regarding his eye we will let you all know! Thank you so much for your extreme generosity. We wouldn't be able to rescue animals like Al without your help! ❤
