Sometimes you need a bit of extra help to ensure your pet has a healthy and happy life along your side. Surrendering your pet to a shelter should always be your last resort.
Our Community Pet Support Program offers members of our community support through our Pet Pantry for basic supplies and pet food. Our pantry has been slowly growing for the past year however the need is still significant and we have a steady stream of new pet families seeking our services.
In addition, we are proud to provide pantry offerings to community cat colony feeders, volunteer, trappers, and good Samaritans fostering dogs until their owner is located, because we know each of these is a valuable component to a humane, collaborative community. We do our best to help pet owners access basic necessities to keep their furever friend happy and healthy and rely on the donations of generous individuals to be able to provide that service. Each item donated off our wishlist goes directly to a family in need (or to the other animal lovers mentioned above).
If you can give, please consider sending an item from our wishlist. If you cannot, please consider sharing our wishlist with others.
And if you are in need of support, our Pet Pantry is open to the public daily between 9:00a – 4:00p. Pet owners and community cat care takers can pick up two weeks’ worth of supplies at time. Supplies may include wet or dry food, treats, carriers, crates, and leashes. Offerings vary and based availability. Application is not required for access to the Pet Pantry.
