a look back at {{ data.pet_details_extra.name }}'s story
Our community assistance pet pantry began as a response to the large numbers of community members forced to surrender their pets due to an inability to provide basic essentials, like food and cat litter, for their pets. By offering these resources at no cost, we have been able to prevent unnecessary surrenders and lower the euthanasia rates for our community. In 2018, our shelter's save rate was 95 percent, which is the direct result of this and other public services that our dedicated staff and volunteers offer for our community.
The goal of the SVASC Community Assistance Pet Pantry is to keep pets where they belong: at home, with their families. Please consider donating today to support this critical mission.
