The SAFE Haven for Cats Pet Food Pantry is here to help people and families who are unable to feed their pets. This program is designed to fill the void in the nation’s current assistance programs that exclude the purchase of food and supplies for family pets.

One in four pet owners who give up their pets to a shelter say it is because they cannot afford to care for them. By providing temporary pet food assistance, the pet stays in their loving home and out of the shelter!

To receive food, participants apply online or in person to receive pet food. All participants must provide proof of financial distress. They can receive the food for 3 months and are eligible to reapply for assistance in 6 months. The distribution takes place once a month and the pet(s) is provided enough food to last until the next month.

The Pet Food Pantry gets no funding and is a part of SAFE Haven for Cats, a 501(c)3. All of the donations for the Pet Food Pantry go directly to those in need!!

Last year we distributed over 13 tons of food and served 370 cats and 115 dogs from 115 families.

We also spayed/neutered 138 cats and 10 dogs for free!!

The Pet Food Pantry needs ANY KIND OF DRY CAT FOOD to help care for cats in need in our community. Last month, we gave out 800 lbs of it and we'll need that amount next month too. You can help your neighbors with your donation of food!
