Our group is very active, saving an average of 12 animals per day. Last year, we donated roughly 50,000 pounds of pet food, distributed thousands of vaccines and paid for over 1,000 castrations. In spring 2021, we built an animal sanctuary in the city of Salvador-Bahia, Brazil which can house 250+ debilitated, injured and healthy animals. In this sanctuary, we provide youth animal education, medical care, adoption services, and if needed, a permanent home. Unfortunately, animal cruelty and abuse are very common in Brazil, but we are here to do everything possible to stop it. Our goal? Give these animals a chance. On average, we rescue 12 animals each day. We provide vaccinations, medical care, foster care, and sterilization, to remove animals from the streets, find them loving homes, and prevent this neglected population from growing. Our program is fully dependent on our volunteers and donors. As a true non-profit organization, every cent donated is used to purchase food, medical supplies, and fund life-saving surgeries. Our volunteers donate their time to assist with rescuing and caring for these animals while we work to find them loving homes. How you can help: We are fully dependent on our volunteers. From rescuing these animals from the streets to putting food in the bowls, to showing these animals what it means to be properly cared for and loved.
