Jurassic Bark Rescue

We are a Non-Profit, 501(c)(3) organization that specializes in Giant/Large all-breed dog rescue, dedicated to saving the lives of homeless and neglected animals - as well as the Homeless families living on the streets with their animals. We relocated to Florida in April to build an animal sanctuary. We are clearing land and BUILDING from the ground up by hand, creating a Sanctuary for unadoptable animals primarily from Texas. At Jurassic Bark Rescue our mission is simple, to save the lives of as many shelter and homeless animals as possible. We are an all-breed, all-volunteer rescue group serving the Florida Panhandle and the surrounding areas – however, we specialize in Giant Breeds (our dogs typically clock-in at 100 lbs. and up!). Large and Giant breed dogs can sometimes be mistakenly labeled as dangerous or aggressive, when the truth is, these babies are just, well…BIG. And that label is the difference between life and death in a shelter. At Jurassic Bark, we believe EVERY life is a life worth saving. No animal should be forced to BEG for their lives, simply because of a lack of space, an arbitrary timetable or budget, or human bias. All life is precious; as a community, we must work together to protect and preserve it. At Jurassic Bark, we focus on the dogs. A life we can save. A life YOU can save.
