Outcast Rescue

Outcast Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to Advocating, Informing, and Rescuing America's Most Misjudged Dog Breeds - The Pit Bull and The Rottweiler. Pennsylvania is our primary area of operation. VETERINARY CARE Our dogs are fully vetted to include age-appropriate vaccinations, rabies vaccinated, spayed or neutered, microchipped, all known health issues addressed by our veterinarians EVALUATION We behavior evaluate each dog and see how they cope with a new home situation. During this period, we slowly introduce them to children, other dogs, and sometimes cats and small animals to see how they react. By doing things slowly and working on training our dogs to become highly adoptable. FOSTER CARE Become a ‘Foster Family' to a dog in need. Foster families are the most important part of our rescue. We rely on our fosters to help us save dogs in need. One foster home opens up a safe spot to save a life. You provide, love, training (with our help of course), warmth, and a safe haven. We provide, food, supplies, and veterinary care for our dogs VOLUNTEER Can't foster? Then maybe you can volunteer. You could help with a range of tasks. We always need people at events, transport for dogs, and processing applications. If you want to make a difference, come join the Outcast Rescue family. ADOPTION We have a very thorough adoption process. We screen each adopter to ensure that the home they provide is the best possible home for our deserving pooches! As part of our adoption process we have an application that needs to be filled out prior to any meets. We check vet references, personal references, a home visit, then a meet and greet! FOREVER HOME Outcast dogs are forever part of the family. Our adopters are as well. We pride ourselves on maintaining a family welcoming atmosphere for all of our adopters.
