Flopsy’s Friends Foundation

Flopsy’s Friends exists to provide humane shelter and care for companion animals in need of housing and to provide education to fellow animal lovers.Our community is a family of new and seasoned fosters, including registered fosters with CMPD's Animal Care and Control ("ACC"). We take in felines from ACC, other shelters, or strays that are locally found. When taking animals from ACC or other shelters, we prioritize bringing home animals that are not easily adoptable, those that are neonatal, injured, sick, or fearful of humans and bring them home with us. By choosing these animals, we reduce their risk of being euthanized. Then we give these animals whatever they need, whether it's to be nursed back to health, socialized, or simply loved in a safe place until they are ready to be adopted.
