Animal Aid was founded in 1998 and we became a nonprofit in 2001. Guidestar awarded Animal Aid a Platinum seal for transparency. Animal Aid takes in animals on their last day from high kill shelters or otherwise unwanted cats and dogs, provides necessary medical care thru our inhouse clinic and finds them forever homes through our adoption center In Oakland Park.
