This summer kept Columbus House Rabbit Society busy, and the bunnies they rescued were also quite busy... They were rescued from rabbit dump sites and owner surrenders, but now, they need your help to spay and neuter 30 rabbits!
One of the momma rabbits, Clarice, was an owner surrender. One of her surviving babies was with her still, and she took in an orphaned litter that was only about one-week-old at the time. Two other momma bunnies, Evie and Lily, were both strays rescued from a cemetery in Cincinnati that was being used as a dump site for neighborhood rabbits. Once these two were feeling safe and sound, they gave birth to their litters within days of being rescued!
You can see how important it is for all animals to be spayed and neutered, but especially rabbits with their reproduction rate, which is why we need your help!
Please consider donating to this campaign to help raise $2,000 for 30 spays and neuters for these beautiful bunnies. Let's show them how humans are filled with love and compassion towards all animals. Columbus House Rabbit Society also provides all loving foster homes with a pen, litter box, food/water bowls, and toys as well as pellet food and hay - so please donate an item from their wishlist as well!
