Mommy came to us to very pregnant, and shortly after, she gave birth to 11 healthy pups, most of whom have been lucky enough to find homes.
We soon realized that Mommy had a limp, so we took her to the vet. The vet discovered that she had been shot with birdshot pellets in the leg. Unfortunately, with this type of pellet, it is impossible to operate. The most we can do is get her annual vaccines and wellness checks to make sure she is doing well.
We are a tiny rescue with no volunteers or fosters, and very few supporters, so any help is greatly appreciated. She is one of several dogs who is due for their annuals.
Please consider donating to Mommy for her annual checkup to make sure she is healthy or sending her a gift from her wishlist to make her as happy and comfortable as possible.
