Wylie Animal Rescue Foundation
has been saving animals since 1998 through a network of dedicated volunteers and foster homes. Now we have realized the long-term goal of purchasing land to build a place for animals in need while they wait for their forever homes or live their lives out in safety and without fear or discomfort.
But we need your help!
Our property, located just off of highway 50 East in Stagecoach, Nevada, requires improvements before we can begin building. We need a well and septic system installed, fencing, and grading. We have secured a grant to provide housing for our caretakers, but the improvements to the land must take place before any dwellings or buildings can be installed.
Here's what we're doing about it...
We are currently hosting multiple fundraisers each month and are actively pursuing additional funding through several grantmaking opportunities. We also actively promote awareness of our cause through an engaging and very robust social media site.
You can join us!
Right now, our greatest need is funding to drill a well, install a septic system, and grade/gravel a driveway onto the property, in addition to improving and fortifying the existing fencing. We are also desperately in need of a contractor, surveyor or an electrician to help us create a site plan so we can begin to improve the property! All of the animals that come to our future sanctuary will receive the best of care regardless of age, breed, temperament, or disability. By helping us bring this sanctuary to fruition, you will know that you are truly saving many lives, one animal at a time.
