is now

To better serve our animal-loving community as we move into the future, we plan to expand our offering. And in the process, we thought a name change was in order is now

"Cuddly" is how we feel about animals and it's how animals make us feel. That being said, while there are many upcoming changes, our mission remains the same. We aim to help animals around the world live better lives through innovation, community, and kindness. Thank you for being a part of our movement and, now, the family.

Urgent Hospitalization

  • Breed: Chihuahua
  • Name: Sweet Baby Zoey
  • Color: Brown
  • Size: Extra Small
  • Sex: Female
  • Age: Baby

$560.00 raised of $1,000.00

This sweet, tiny girl was surrendered to Cabarrus Pets Society after her owner brought her home from the breeder and discovered she was sick. Zoey was vomiting, had diarrhea, and refused to eat. Her owner was unable to afford care for her hospitalization to save her life so they did the right thing and surrendered her so she could get the care she desperately needed.

Zoey is currently being hospitalized as her blood sugar fell dangerously low from not eating. She will remain hospitalized on IV fluids and dextrose (IV sugar), with syringe feedings every 2 hours until they can get her to eat on her own. Luckily, she was parvo negative but she will still require a great deal of care. Hospitalization and round the clock care can become expensive very quickly, but they couldn't say no to this sweet face and will do whatever it takes to get her feeling better again. Any help towards the costs for her care would be appreciated, whether it's donations to her medical bills or even CBD oil to help with her appetite.

  • Zoey is doing really well right now. She had a hypoglycemic incident Thursday night and was rushed back to the ER but luckily her foster mom gave her some syrup before hand so by the time we got her to the ER and they checked her blood sugar it was normal. She still doesn't eat very well as she's a bit picky but otherwise she has been doing wonderful and is getting stronger.

Zoey doesn't really have a diagnosis per say, hypoglycemia in puppies this tiny can be pretty common. She also had coccidia which we are treating her for as well which caused a mild anemia.

Zoey is 10 weeks old and doesn't even weight 1lb. These are unfortunately common in dogs that are purposefully bred to be micro like this and should be a reminder for why we shouldn't breed for fashion
