As time began to eat away at this rapidly declining little pup, her bones began to show through thinning skin and hope began to fade. She undoubtedly began to believe that she would meet the same fate as her mother, it was just a matter of time now.
In a wonderful turn of events, cruelty investigators found the poor pup and immediately came to her rescue. They brought her into a shelter where she received very basic vetting- but she needed much more, this is when we stepped in. We brought her to our vet to have her thoroughly examined.
After some testing, x-rays, and much more it was learned that she had multiple ulcers, she was partially blind, and obviously very malnourished. She has a hard time controlling her bowel movements and her eyes and nose have discharge coming out like a running hose—all of which feels like just the beginning.
It’s very clear that this girl needs to start again. We need to pick her up off the floor, give her the care that she has never been afforded, and put her back on the right track. We know that once she is in better shape, we will be able to find her a good and loving home where she never has to face the fears and horrors of this big, bad world again.
If you would like to help her get there, please consider donating. Your generosity goes towards changing this girl’s world as she knows it. We thank you for everything and anything you are willing to do!

Rehema was found tucked in close next to her mother’s badly decomposing body, in a world of chaos and extreme pain she felt the safest in her mother's arms, though she knew that she was no longer there to comfort or protect her anymore.
