This is probably top five of the worst deplorable condition homes Animal Charity has seen in several years! Luckily, we safely removed 16 cats today, 3 of them ready to give birth. To add, three occupants were removed from the deplorable home with the hopes of requesting mental health evaluations. We know that hoarding is a mental illness, and the home residents are now getting the help they need.
We write this story to show our staff and volunteers' level of dedication at Animal Charity. Rescue involves hard work and grit, and that's what our heroes have here at our rescue. It will be a long journey as we remove the cats from this terrifying house and bring them on the road to recovery. Your donations are greatly appreciated and will help cover the cost of transportation, supplies, and, most importantly, vetting. Please consider donating to help us bring more than 70 cats on the road to recovery so that they may, one day, find a forever home. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support!

Imagine more than 70 cats crammed into one home, suffering in deplorable conditions, deprived of proper care, and needing medical attention. That was the reality of what rescuers walked into; one of the most severe and devastating hoarding cases they have ever seen!

Sadly, the number of cats that need to be rescued is increasing due to pregnancy, and we need to move fast, but there's only so much that we can do in one day! To make matters worse, there are kitties stuck inside the holes in the walls and ceilings, making our job more challenging to get them out. In addition, the trash is piled from the floor to the ceiling in EVERY room of this horrific house. This makes it difficult for us to navigate inside the home. Finally, the house was completely covered in feces and urine, resulting in us wearing face masks because the high levels of ammonia would instantly choke a person…
