To put it lightly, Rocky is - through NO fault of his own - a walking train wreck. He is practically hairless, with the entirety of his body crusty and hard – caked in pus, blood, and dead skin. He was riddled with fleas, which have now left him understandably swollen, itchy, and raw. And unfortunately, it has now been confirmed that this poor boy has Scabies.
Today, this resilient boy is healing in a home with his amazing foster momma, who will be taking over his specialized care. But this is just the beginning of a long recovery road for Rocky, and he could use all the love and support to help him along the way. Once Rock is healthy enough to withstand intensive treatments, he will go in for a full workup, diagnostic tests, vaccinations, and neuter. But first thing's first: Tackling Rocky's skin issues, and getting some fur sprouting on that cute lil' little body of his!
Please send some love and snuggles to this warrior as he begins recovery and if you are able, please consider making a donation towards Rocky's ongoing care. Anything you can spare, $5 or $50, helps immensely to support his medical care. We will update everyone on Rocky's condition as he goes, thank you so much for your kindness and support.

This poor boy arrived to us yesterday morning (06/05) after finding himself on the local shelter's euthanasia list, and honestly…just looking at him hurts. Rocky is so special. He deserved so much more from this world– and from the people inhabiting it. His face has the look of pure and total defeat, and while we don’t know much about his past, his broken body tells us more than words ever could. 💔
