Today, this precious girl is finally on her road to recovery. And while long days of neglect and hopelessness won't disappear overnight, and her wound-riddled body needs time to heal, but the important thing is that Norah is SAFE, alive, and on her way to recovery – physically and emotionally. Tackling Norah's Mange and skin infections alone will take at least 6-8 weeks of medicated baths, antibiotics, and topical treatments; but beyond this, she'll need rounds of diagnostics and follow-ups to figure out what's going on underneath the surface.
Please keep this special girl in your thoughts, and if you are able, please consider making a small donation to Norah’s ongoing medical care or sending a special “get-well” item off her wishlist below. Thank you so much, everyone.

This poor girl got dealt an incredibly awful deck of cards, and her life has been filled with undeniable hardships. And while much of the details of her trauma-ridden past are still in question, one glance at this beautiful, broken girl tells us all we need to know: Norah needed help.
This didn't happen overnight; this poor girl's condition worsened over a LONG length of time. She was obviously suffering in terrible agony, and one can only assume that her pain drove her to look to humans for help. Her coat – dull, matted, and full of dirt and grime – displays months of neglect. And at this point, her skin has deteriorated so much that now, her fur is falling out in patches. She was itching and hurting and uncomfortable - all at the same time. Her nails were overgrown and embedded into her pads, and the skin around her eyes was raw and crusted.
