Nine months ago a house was sold in an estate sale and left empty for almost a year…
The new owner just, yes JUST, came out to check on the property to begin to move in. In a corner hiding, they found this poor pup. He ran off and cowered away behind a fence. He had been alone on this property, doing his best to survive for 9 whole months.
We were called to come in and help, no one was able to trap him. We were able to network to find a great trapper in our area and we were finally able to catch him. He seemed absolutely terrified, and we don’t blame him after being alone for so long!
We placed him with an amazing foster who has been showing him so much love and attention. He has really learned to trust her as she is allowed to bathe him, brush and even cuddle! He still has some remnants of his past though, he had to be sedated to get to his vet visit today.
He is currently there, getting a full work-up. He is being neutered, vaccines, and getting all of his blood work done to make sure he is in good shape!
If you would like to give a gift that helps save lives, please consider donating to Sarge’s care. Any amount is greatly appreciated and goes directly to his treatment so that we can get him back on track to a good and long life!
