HELP! – We just got this Boer-cross doe today from Fort Worth Animal Control, who is suffering from severe injuries to a hind limb from a dog attack. Her prognosis is extremely guarded, but we will give it all we have to get her better.
However, we also got another goat from AC last week with head injuries, who we were told was surrendered by the same owners and attacked by the same dog. What’s more, when the animal control officer was picking this one up, they reportedly witnessed that very dog attacking the owner’s puppy too.
The one-eared goat is now named Starry Night, and the other one with the leg injury is named Trinity. Starry Night suffered severe head injuries requiring emergency care; meanwhile, Trinity sustained an injury to her hind leg and while she is stable, her prognosis remains guarded and she needs ongoing medication and treatment for her wounds. She also may require an orthotic or brace, as the hoof is knuckling under which is indicative of nerve damage.
These defenseless animals never deserved such violence. We need your help to make sure these two amazing creatures can get the medical treatment they need in order to live healthy lives. The costs of orthotics, braces, surgery, and X-rays – all of these treatments add up quickly and are expensive. Today, we are asking you to please join us in our mission and be their heroes!
Your donation – no matter how big or small – will help us give these two beautiful goats a fighting chance at life. All donations are tax-deductible and go directly towards providing medical care for Starry Night and Trinity. With your help, we can give these two precious goats the chance they deserve to live out their days free from fear and pain; with joy in their hearts as they graze happily on sweet grasses in the sun.
Please, consider joining our mission to help restore health and happiness to Starry Night and Trinity by donating to their care. Thank you for your kindness and support!
