Animals do not wage wars like their human counterparts, yet they experience the atrocities they bring all the same. And poor senior animals in the shelters find themselves there due to different reasons: Some of them were born there and nobody paid attention to them or wanted to bring them home. Some of them were abandoned by former owners; some of them were given up due to old age and sickness. Some will die in the shelter, never ever knowing any other life.
This Holiday Season, our mission is to provide these beautiful animals with the love and attention they deserve. To do this, we need people like you on our team for the long-haul. We understand that times can be tough right now but even a small amount can go a long way toward making these animals' lives just a little bit better during this special time of year.
Please help us give them the gift of love - any amount helps to help spread joy and happiness to those who need it most this season. Your generous contribution will go towards purchasing supplies such as food, blankets, beds, toys, and medical supplies for the senior animals in war-torn shelters. Together we can make sure no dog spends another holiday season alone or forgotten! Let’s show these furry friends what it means to be part of a loving community!

When Russian forces invaded Ukraine in February 2022, there was no time to hesitate. The Russian war in Ukraine has gone on for almost ten months. Thousands of people have been killed and millions have been forced to leave their homes. An untold number of animals have been caught in the crossfire as well.
The war is taking a huge toll on animals — not just owned pets, but also stray animals, farm animals, and wildlife. Per an NPR article published in Sept. of 2022, ("Dodging Russian bombs, these volunteers risk it all to save Ukraine's animals"), not only are stray animals in the streets vulnerable and unprotected from airstrikes but many shelters have been destroyed. And things are getting even more dire as conditions get colder and the environment gets harsher this time of year.
