Her doctors then noted that she had an advanced case of glaucoma and that removal would most likely be needed. However, having just removed her leg, rescuers were hesitant to take anymore parts of this little kitten unless it was absolutely necessary. And so, for two months straight, they tried lubricants and medicated drops - however, her there was no improvement to her condition. If anything, she had gotten worse. Due to this, Enucleation surgery was done just a few days ago, as it was the only option available to allow her to truly lead a pain-free life. And though, she has lost her vision at such a young age, she has gained her health in return.
Right now, Bella is recovering after having gone through two very major surgeries. Rescuers are going to give her ample time to adjust to the new perimeters of her body and lifestyle, but any support you can give them to help Bella along the way would be wonderful. Please consider making a kind donation, or sending a loving gift from off her wishlist, if you're able. While her first surgery bill is paid, the combination of both surgeries was very expensive and helping to pay this will allow the rescue to save more like Bella!
We will keep you updated on her condition.

When Bella was rescued from a local shelter, where she had been sitting for days without help, one of her legs was broken and both her eyes were suffering from glaucoma.
At just five weeks old, she couldn't lift her own body without pain. She couldn't even close her eyes because of how dry and swollen they were. A Voice For All Paws knew she had a very small time window to receive help before she was euthanized, so they rushed to pull her and take her straight to the hospital for assessment. There, doctors declared that her leg was too far gone. The break was too severe and since she didn't receive any care for it early on, it would need to be amputated immediately. And so, it was.
