He's now at Vergi 24/7 being stabilized. He will be sedated so the wounds can be cleaned and scrubbed as best as possible, but the dead tissue will need to be surgically removed. There is already infection setting in, and he's going to need extensive care. Basically all the black you see in his photos needs to be removed, but it's so widespread which makes his case risky. He'll be resting comfortably tonight until he can get to a soft tissue specialist tomorrow.

This sweet Lab was reported as abandoned in a backyard earlier today. He has intense burns on 1/3 of his body. We don't know if the burns are intentional or accidental but we do know they're very serious and he must've been in excruciating pain. He was stuck in the backyard with no way out.
