MaryLou is a VERY sick senior doxie, who we pulled from the shelter yesterday (01/30) after getting a desperate plea from our partners there.
We would be lying if we said that weren’t scared. Our poor, senior girl is suffering from a plethora of issues – and she has been for so, SO long...
It was immediately clear MaryLou needed ICU treatment ASAP -- along with IV fluids and antibiotics, X-rays, bloodwork. She has rock-hard, ugly-looking tumors running all down her mammary chain — which could have been AVOIDED, had she been spayed. Her teeth are horrendous; many are rotten and will need to be extracted. And to top it all off, MaryLou is also having a very hard time with a nasty case of Pneumonia.
Although so many have told her otherwise, MaryLou IS deserving, and she IS special… we just can’t wait to show her exactly this. She's at the hospital as we speak, and we will update everyone as soon as more is known regarding her treatment. Anything you can spare towards this special gal’s care, $5 or $50, is so appreciated.
