PoundWishes Gift Card
PoundWishes Gift Cards are available to offer donation credit to any pet or rescue on our site. The cardholder may load the funds to their donor account and give as they choose. The avenues for donation are PoundWish Campaigns, Rescue & Shelter General Funds, and Success Stories. Standard fees apply.
PoundWishes Sweetheart Grant
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. MANY WILL ENTER. TWO WILL WIN THE GRANT.
1.Eligibility
Any shelter or rescue 501c3 organization is eligible to enter.
Anyone can purchase gift cards.
2. Contest Period
The Contest begins on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 9:00 AM Pacific Standard Time (PST) and ends on Tuesday, February 14th, 2017 at 11:59 PM PST.
3. Who are the Judges?
PoundWishes Board.
4. Entry Requirements
One must purchase a gift card to be able to cast a vote.
There is a $5 minimum purchase amount.
Valid form of payment must be applied to the transaction.
One vote applied to an organization per gift card purchased, no limits per person.
To be applied, one must purchase a gift card before, Tuesday, February 14th, 2017 at 11:59 PM.
5. Submission and Use of Materials
You are solely responsible for your Submission, the consequences of making a Submission, and your reliance on any submission.
The personal information you submit when you visit this site is considered private and will not be used for any use beyond PoundWishes.com.
6. How to Enter
Any shelter or rescue organization already using PoundWishes or RescueGroups.org is automatically able to enter. If an organization isn?t available on the drop-down list of participants, one can be manually added to the contest.
Shelters and rescues should share this with their supporters.
7. Odds of Winning
Odd of winning will vary depending on number of participants.
8. Prize Details.
Each gift card purchased, counts as one vote for the selected organization, amount purchased has no effect on votes. No limit to the amount of gift cards purchased by a single person.
The shelter or rescue that receives the most points will win a $2,500 grant. The organization with the second most votes, will receive a $1,000 grant.
Winner will be announced on February 15th, 2017.
9. Awarding of Prizes
The first and second place winners will be notified by February 15th 2017, by phone or email.
PoundWishes will arrange the sending of the winning amounts, in check form, by mail.
10. Unclaimed Prizes
Unclaimed or uncashed checks will be held by PoundWishes, attempts will be made to contact the winners. If no response is made with in 1 month, The PoundWishes Foundation will claim the amount.
11. Restrictions and Limitations of Lability
Participants must accurately complete all required fields or entry will be deemed invalid. PoundWishes will not have any liability for any malfunction of the internet, website or any other computer related processor system.
12. Publicity and Winner Publications
Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for to use the winner?s organization name, submission, and comments for promotional purposes of the contest in any media without limitation and without additional compensation unless prohibited by law.
