Families don't all look alike and their stories come from all corners of the Earth with backgrounds and experiences that run the gamut.
Meet Keesha and Kazan, two beautiful huskies that came to the US all the way from Venezuela. These fluffy pups are currently waiting for their owners to be processed, as they are currently staying in temporary migrant housing, awaiting their relocation to New York. When their owners made the decision to forge a new life, they knew, without a doubt, that their beloved pups would make the journey with them.
Regardless of personal perspectives, we can all agree that this is a pet family where love is plentiful - Keesha and Kazan are family members, not just pets.

As part of their journey, Keesha and Kazan made a quick pit stop at El Paso Animal Services for vaccinations and microchips before heading to a boarding facility, where they will stay until they are reunited with their owners.
Keeping families together is part of our essential work here at El Paso Animal Services. When we see the lengths people go to for their furry companions, we're reminded why it's so important.
Thank you to all who donate to help those just like Keesha and Kazan. 💙
