Sweet Girl Was Facing Euthanasia, Beat Skin Disease And Heartworms—Now She's Home Thanks To YOU!
October 5, 2026
We have wonderful news to share with you today, and it’s all thanks to YOUR support! Sweet Floozie has been adopted! We couldn’t be more thrilled for this sweet soul, but before we pop the confetti, we wanted to take a moment and reflect on just how far Floozie has come.
Floozie's journey began with heartbreak. Her severe skin issues left her uncomfortable and overlooked, and the shelter had placed her on the euthanasia list. Yet through all of it, her spirit never dimmed. She still greeted everyone with a wagging tail, a happy smile, and a gentle, loving nature. We couldn't let a dog with that much heart run out of time, so we stepped in to give her the second chance she deserved.
We started treatment for her skin condition right away. Little by little, she began to heal. Through every step, Floozie showed incredible resilience and never let her past define her. She loved attention and soaked up every moment with people. It was clear she was ready to trade shelter life for a family of her own. But her story didn't end there. Just as she seemed to be turning a corner, Floozie tested positive for heartworm disease. Through it all, Floozie stayed in her foster home and got all the love, comfort and patience a recovering pup could ask for.
Then came the moment we had been hoping for all along. Her foster family had fallen in love with her the minute they brought her home, and they couldn't imagine life without her. They made it official: Floozie was adopted! She has a new name to match her new beginning, Kimber. She even has a dog sibling to play with every day.
From a sweet girl facing euthanasia in a shelter to a cherished companion with a family and a best friend of her own, her transformation is nothing short of remarkable. She is proof that the dogs who have faced the hardest roads often have the most love to give.
Thanks to your support through CUDDLY, Kimber received the skin care, the heartworm treatment, and the time to heal that she needed to reach this happy ending. You showed her that her life was worth fighting for. Thank you for standing by her every step of the way.
