Little Chloe was found in a Long Beach dumpster after she was severely abused and tied up in a kitchen trash bag. This poor girl was not only covered in old table scraps, a human had also urinated all over her tiny body. Her little nails were so long and curled up, they were growing into her paw pads; her hair was completely matted as if she had not been groomed for years.

Fix Long Beach got word of Chloe and rushed to her aid. Chloe suffered a fractured skull, multiple broken ribs and her leg was snapped in half. Her body was completely limp and she was hours from death when she was found. They rushed her to the emergency room where she was placed in an incubator, trying to survive.

Chloe had such a long road ahead in her recovery and Fix Long Beach Pet needed help with her medical costs. CUDDLY proudly partnered with Fix Long Beach and immediately started a campaign for her care. Over the course of a few weeks, Chloe's campaign had raised over $8,000 in monetary donations, and countless wishlist items for her to come home to and help her recover quicker. Her story spread like wildfire and animals lovers around the world stepped up to help this sweet little girl.

Because there were so many people invested in Chloe's story, she had hundreds of interested adopters. Fix Long Beach knew they had a very important job on their hands when choosing who Chloe was going to spend forever with. Five months after her being found in that dumpster, we are ecstatic to report that Chloe was ADOPTED by an incredibly loving family that has been involved in her rescue from the very beginning. Not only did they adopt Chloe, but they adopted another one of Fix Long Beach's pups at the same time so that Chloe would always have a friend to play with.

Although this story had such a heartbreaking beginning, the end result is incredibly amazing and we couldn't be happier that we were able to be a part of this Chloe's recovery. Happy tails, sweet girl!
