"Anyone involved in animal rescue knows these are very difficult and challenging times. We are all witnessing an exploding stray population. Abandoned, neglected, abused and unwanted pets are being dumped and ?owner surrendered? at record numbers. Shelters are full beyond capacity. Rescue groups are financially strained. Not to mention physically and emotionally drained.

Dirt Road Doggie's Rescue has always been involved in rescuing puppies and dog's from abuse and neglect in rural counties. This past summer we were presented with one of our most challenging missions. Over 40 puppies and dog's, all facing a lifetime of neglect, abuse, and for many certain death. Continuing the vicious cycle. In this group was Tebow, a puppy with a broken jaw. That required emergency surgery. And Orphan Annie. A dying puppy diagnosed with a Megaesophagus. She has and is still requiring extensive medical care.

We reached out to CUDDLY after seeing a commercial featuring an animal in need. Veronica, our amazing CUDDLY advisor, responded immediately and worked quickly to get our fundraising campaigns launched so we could move forward to meet the needs of all these precious dogs.

To say our partnership and experience with CUDDLY has exceeded our expectations is an understatement. Veronica is not only professional and extremely knowledgeable she is a compassionate human being that cares about the volunteers and fosters homes in our Rescue and the animals we love and care for.
