Kipper’s ordeal began months ago when he was found in a nightmarish state. Filthy and covered in fleas, his eyes were caked with mud, and he was tormented by flies. Severely dehydrated, Kipper gulped down bottles of water as soon as he was rescued. His once-golden fur was so matted and stained that it had to be completely shaved off. Despite the unbearable hardships he faced, Kipper’s will to survive was undeniable, and he clung to life with remarkable tenacity.

Bentley’s story is equally heartbreaking. Abandoned and left to fend for himself outside a food store, Bentley was beaten by locals, his body frail from malnutrition and injury. He was found bleeding from his mouth and nose, a helpless victim of unimaginable cruelty, desperately searching for the owners who would never return. The sight of Bentley, defeated yet still holding on, was enough to break anyone’s heart.

Fortunately, fate intervened, and their lives took a turn for the better. Rescuers brought them to safety, where they received the care, nourishment, and medical attention they so desperately needed. But they had to get to the United States; it was the only way to guarantee their well-being. But this would come at an immense cost: a staggering $8000! Partnering with Golden Resource Rescue (GRR) in Ohio and under the dedicated supervision of rescuers like Dadeg Gamal, Kipper and Bentley embarked on a journey of healing.

After months of fundraising, Bentley and Kipper reached a monumental milestone—they boarded a plane from Egypt to the United States. Thanks to an incredible support network, including CUDDLY and countless volunteers, their transformation story took flight—literally. After enduring SO much trauma, they finally had the opportunity to experience the warmth and love of a forever home.

Kipper, now lovingly renamed Naji, meaning "survivor," quickly felt the embrace of a family’s love. Photos of him enjoying his first-ever Puppuccino captured hearts and symbolized his new life of joy. Bentley, now known as Ramsey, seamlessly adapted to his new home, where he shares his space with a fellow rescue dog named Sunny. The two quickly became fast friends, and Ramsey finally found the peace he had been searching for.
