Initially found alone on the roadside, crying out for help, Orea has found her forever home, where she will grow into a happy and healthy pup!

Orea's story begins on the rough streets of Albania, where she and five other puppies (Brando, Kami, Bianca, Neve, and Rambo) were discovered with no mama in sight. Fortunately, our rescue team stumbled upon them in the nick of time, lured by their whimpers, and hurried them into our care. We raced to feed them nutritious milk and puppy food, bathed them, and checked for any underlying issues. We do not know how long they had been out there, having been abandoned and left to fend for themselves. But we worked quickly, as they were all so vulnerable and fragile.

Soon after, we found another puppy (Alba), this one dangerously ill, as well as three adult dogs (Cookie, Cacao, and Nanna). Orea became part of a larger rescue effort—we set out to transport all nine dogs to Italy, where they would be given a better chance at a new life. They would also receive the crucial vet care they desperately needed. We uploaded a campaign on CUDDLY in hopes that we would raise enough funds to make such an ambitious dream possible.

Miraculously, thanks to your kindness, the donations poured in, and we were able to load up these pups and set out on our way. Upon arrival in Northern Italy, Orea and the others were placed in loving foster homes, where they continued their care. Orea was vaccinated and showered with love as she steadily came out of her shell, flourishing in her new environment.

We are now THRILLED to share that, less than a week later, sweet Orea found her forever home! A kind family just melted at the sight of her, ready to bring this precious girl home. Orea will forever be cherished and will never again be subject to cruelty or abandonment. What a beautiful day for this adorable pup!
