Violet  is a sweet and loving little Dachshund mix. When Pound Pullers first rescued her, she was only 5 pounds at 11 weeks old.  Violet was found dumped out on a rural road in remote Laclede County, Missouri.  Pound Pullers took her into their foster care rescue with the intent of getting her fully vetted and then finding her a loving fur-ever home.  Suddenly one night,  Violet's foster mom had to rush her to the vet as she was lethargic, vomiting, and had diarrhea. Violet tested positive for Parvo and needed immediate treatment to give her a 50/50 chance of surviving. As many know, Parvo treatment is extremely expensive and there are no guarantees the puppy will survive.

Fortunately, sweet little Violet fully recovered from Parvo and was able to receive routine vetting. After, her soon to be mom and dad feel in love with her, and came down or a meet and greet. It was love at first sight! They took her home with them to give her all the love she could ever need! They renamed her "Mia" and the family is happier than ever! We'd like to thank everyone who helped and donated to little Violet! Because of you she made it through Parvo and his living the good life! And thank you to Pound Pullers for never giving up!
